Editorial policy
Reviewed 5 October 2026. Lorena aims to make its editorial pages readable, keyboard-friendly and compatible with common assistive technologies. We use semantic headings, descriptive image alternatives, visible focus states and responsive layouts. Pages are designed to work with keyboard navigation, browser zoom and reflow on smaller screens. Form controls should have readable labels and feedback should not rely on colour alone. Where a feature depends on browser behaviour, the underlying information should remain available in ordinary page text. These practices are informed by the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, while recognising that practical accessibility can vary by device, browser and assistive technology.
Known limitations
Some older linked material or third-party destinations may not meet the same standard. We are continuing to improve contrast, language clarity and form feedback during 2026.
Feedback
Tell us about a barrier through the contact page or by post to 70 King's Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 4PH, United Kingdom. Include the page address, device or assistive technology and the outcome you expected, without sending sensitive health information. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days and provide a practical update within 20 working days where investigation is required. If a page is difficult to use, you may request the relevant information in an alternative format or ask for assistance locating a section. We will only use the details supplied to understand and respond to the access issue, subject to the privacy policy.
Review
We record feedback, prioritise issues affecting access to core information and review this statement annually. The next scheduled review is October 2027.
Accessibility can differ between browsers, operating systems, screen readers, magnification tools and input devices. A page that works with a keyboard may still need improvement for a particular combination of software, and a third-party destination may follow a different standard. We aim to preserve meaningful heading order, readable link text, useful alternative descriptions and sufficient colour contrast as pages are updated. Content that is decorative should not create unnecessary noise for assistive technology.
Reports can be sent through the contact page, to 70 King's Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 4PH, United Kingdom, or by calling +44 1793 847253. We aim to acknowledge a report within five working days and provide an update within 20 working days where testing is required. This statement was reviewed on 5 October 2026 and will be reconsidered in October 2027 or sooner if a material site change or repeated barrier warrants earlier review.
